WDFPL's The History of American Cooking with Merril Smith, Ph.D

Join us at the West Deptford
Free Public Library, 420 Crown Point Road, West Deptford, NJ on Thursday,
November 14 at 7:00 p.m.  for a historical presentation about food by
author Merril D. Smith, Ph.D for her book, “The History of American Cooking.” 
Learn an overview of cooking techniques from colonial times to the present in
what is now the United States. The author describes
cooking methods used throughout American history, spotlighting why particular
methods were used and how they were used to produce particular dishes. 
Numerous sample recipes and tastings are included. “Caution: don’t read this
