West Deptford Junior Women's Club October Business Meeting

The October Business Meeting of the

West Deptford Junior Women’s Club will begin at 7:00 p.m. at the West Deptford

Free Public Library: this month's theme, compliments of the Hospitality and

International Outreach Departments -- Oktoberfest! Local women 18 and older are

enthusiastically encouraged to stop in and see what the club is all about, as we

are looking for a few good ladies to spearhead some incredible projects helping

residents of West Deptford Township and beyond.

The West Deptford Junior

Women's Club is one of the over 250 clubs

throughout New Jersey that are part of the General Federation of Women's Clubs

(GFWC) and the New Jersey State Federation of Women's Clubs (NJSFWC). The NJSFWC

was founded in 1894 and has been headquarted on the campus of Douglass College

in New Brunswick since 1966. The Federation is the oldest and largest

nonpartisan, nondenominational women's volunteer service organization in the

world. Opportunities are provided to women in education, leadership training,

and community service enabling women to make a difference in the lives of

others.

West Deptford’s Juniors donate time, energy, and creativity to

local service projects that benefit the township of West Deptford and its

residents. Other charities are also supported, which benefit our veterans,

pediatric hospitals, state coastlines, and much, much more. Members also enjoy

social activities like mani/pedi nights, book club, and hot yoga workshops.
