Times might be tough, but Clearview-Wenonah Junior Woman’s Club is working hard to make Christmas jolly for local families.

This week, members of the club will deliver toys, bikes, outfits, gift wrap, and ShopRite gift cards to three families in need in Mantua, Mullica Hill, and Wenonah.

This year, these Jersey Juniors are also able to give donations to the Pitman Pantry and Incarnation Church Food Bank.  These Jersey Juniors also donated gently used books to local hospitals, to give out to youngsters who need visits over the holidays.

Clearview-Wenonah Juniors accept donations all year.  We are a non-profit, tax deductible charity.   Besides financial contributions, Clearview-Wenonah Juniors are also collecting fabric for crafts, and ink cartridges to recycle.  Jersey Juniors' next big undertaking is our state-wide spelling bee.

Who are the Jersey Juniors? Clearview-Wenonah Juniors are very active locally.  Projects include back-to-school backpacks for students in Wenonah and Harrison Schools, seeing and selling doggie bandanas for The Seeing Eye, constant work to help local food banks, fundraising for domestic violence prevention, and our holiday food, toy and clothing baskets.

General Federation of Woman’s Clubs (GFWC) is one of the world's oldest non-partisan, nondenominational women's volunteer service organizations. Members are dedicated to strengthening their communities and enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service. Our meetings are held on the second Thursday of most months at 7 PM at the Mantua Community Center. Guests are welcome!
