West Deptford Library Gets Children's Computer Center Renovations Underway

Track the progress of the project on West Deptford Patch.

Friends of the West Deptford Free Public Library are funding significant infrastructure improvements to the children's computer center at the library, and you can follow the progress of the renovations on West Deptford Patch.

Geared toward children aged 4 through 12, the center has been in need of an upgrade, said Friends of the WDFPL President Miriam Reichenbach. The renovations will include the addition of five new computers, a printer, chairs, countertop, cabinet, and an original mural painted by artist Patti Brown.

The center will officially open with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday, December 5, followed immediately by “The Lights of Love Community Holiday Celebration,” which will include a tree lighting ceremony and performance by the Gloucester County Children’s Choir.

Check out the photos below and look back for updates in the next week as work on the project progresses.
