Dear West Deptford Residents,
Last night we were glad to have had the opportunity to communicate with residents on issues impacting our community.
We would like to thank our opponents, Adam Reid and Jim Robinson, for participating in last night's forum along with Matt Skoufalos and Jason Laday for moderating the forum.
After hearing from both sides, we believe the residents have seen that our campaigns have fundamental differences.
Our opponents clearly stated they wish to take our town back. Back to the past 20 years of failed policies of past administrations is not where we will take West Deptford. Those policies got us into this mess in the first place, and we simply cannot afford to go back to those old ways.
We want to focus on moving our community forward. Being community leaders, and not politicians, we know what it takes to get the job done for our residents. When elected we will be answerable to our residents, not the special-interest groups and political party leaders who our opponents take their marching orders from.
We will focus on creating jobs through establishing an Economic Development Commission comprised of local business owners and residents in our township to spearhead economic development.
Unlike our opponents, our plan will not create more overhead with additional payroll. We will cut up the credit card and reduce our current debt, so we can focus on improving our infrastructure without adding more to our debt burden.
We will reform government by performing a top-to-bottom efficiency study maximizing services at a lower cost to the taxpayers. Lastly, we will invest in our future by working with area partners to repair our recreation infrastructure.
The November 5 election is important to the future of West Deptford. Your choice as a voter is between independent thinkers or more of the same old from politicians.
