UPDATE: 31-Year-Old West Deptford Man Killed in Logan Twp. Crash
Police believe speed played a part in the accident that claimed the life of 31-year-old Jason C. Burr.
UPDATE: 4 p.m. August 8, 2013.
Logan Twp. police officials have confirmed that Jason C. Burr is the 31-year-old West Deptford man who perished in a single-car accident Monday.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, but according to Logan Township Capt. Robert Leash, police believe "speed was a factor."

At 6:27 a.m. Monday, Logan Twp. officers were dispatched an area of Route 130 South near the Exit 13 off-ramp of I-295.
There they discovered that Burr's 1999 Nissan Altima "had left the roadway, crossed over approximately 50 feet of the right shoulder, and entered a wooded area where it struck a tree," according to a statement from township police.

"The vehicle sustained heavy front-end and passenger side damage," the statement read.
Burr was pronounced dead at the scene.
