Bolat is 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighs 150 pounds and has brown eyes and brown hair.

On Aug. 29, 2012 a Monroe, Gloucester County police officer was dispatched to an apartment building at 1201 Glassboro Road for a fire alarm.

A resident reported that all tenants had evacuated the building and that she had seen Bolat leave his apartment, which she identified as the origin of the fire.

A sprinkler system extinguished the fire, but the resident said she realized two children, ages 4 and 13, were still in Bolat's unit. The woman retrieved the children and placed them in her car.

The officer reported finding a burned pot on the stove of the Bolat's unit, another in a sink, and a dismantled smoke detector. Bolat returned to his apartment several hours later and was arrested after a brief struggle.

A Gloucester County grand jury indicted Bolat on Feb. 27, 2013 on a second-degree charge of endangering the welfare of a child and a fourth-degree charge of failure to extinguish a fire endangering life or another’s property.

Anyone who knows Bolat's whereabouts should not attempt to apprehend him. Instead, contact the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office at 856-384-5643 or Sgt. Barry Johnson of the prosecutor's office at 856-498-5485.
