CA Man Drove Over Car with Van at Wendy's, Police Say

West Deptford police say David R. Weir of Beaumont, CA, was under the influence when the van he was driving rolled over a parked car belonging to a Wendy's employee.

West Deptford police say a California man was under the influence of alcohol when he drove a 2008 white Chevrolet van up a curb and onto the parked car of an employee of the Wendy's on Crown Point Road on Friday.

Witnesses told police that the van was traveling quickly through the parking lot of the fast food restaurant, when it rolled up a curb, knocked over a trash can and tilted to its side atop a small, thin tree.

The front end of the vehicle came to rest on the driver’s side of an unoccupied, 2007 silver Nissan Altima belonging to an employee of the restaurant.
