County Database Reports Monthly Crime Stats

The most commonly reported incidents of the past five months in West Deptford are juvenile complaints and domestic incidents.

A website launched over the summer by the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Community Partnership gives county residents a monthly update on criminal activity in their communities.

The partnership is tracking monthly calls for service statistics in the 22 law enforcement jurisdictions operational in the county as well as stats from Rowan University.

Calls are reported in eight categories of crimes: criminal mischief, domestic incidents, driving while intoxicated, harassment, juvenile complaints, narcotics, stolen vehicles, and terroristic threats.

The site only documents reports, and does not track whether arrests were made or residents prosecuted as a result of the incidents.

“We want to inform the public on issues which impact our communities, as well as provide greater insight into the work being done by our police departments, “ said Gloucester County Prosecutor Sean F. Dalton in a statement.
