West Deptford Crimelog: Drug Arrests

Police confiscated what they believed to be heroin, crack-cocaine, marijuana and drug-related paraphernalia from South Jerseyans in the township.

West Deptford police announced the following arrests occurred in the township last week.

On April 11, a motor vehicle stop led police to arrest Jordan S. Mills, 34, of Sewell, and 31-year-old William G. Coyne of Langhorne, PA. Mills was arrested for possession of what police believe were heroin, crack-cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released pending a court date.

Coyne was arrested for hindering apprehension and outstanding warrants, and was remanded to the Gloucester County correctional facility.

On April 12, a motor-vehicle stop led police to arrest 63-year-old Dewey L. Patterson and 62-year-old Richard L. Brown, both of Carney’s Point for possession of what police believe was heroin. They were also charged to with failure to surrender controlled, dangerous substances (CDS) to law enforcement officers.  

On April 12, 39-year-old Tracy S. Kibel of Westville, NJ was arrested for possession of what police believe was heroin after her vehicle was stopped for motor vehicle violations. Kibel was issued summonses and released pending court.

On April 13, a motor vehicle stop resulted in the arrest of Gilbert Miller, IV, 32, of Mantua, for driving while intoxicated. Miller was issued summonses and released to a sober acquaintance.  

On April 13, William B. Anderson, 37, of Pitman, was arrested for hindering his apprehension on outstanding warrants, and was remanded to the Gloucester County Correctional Facility.  

On April 16, police investigating a parking complaint on Route 45 arrested Ashley D. Palmer, 29, of Sicklerville, for possession of what they believe was marijuana (less than 50 grams). Palmer was issued summonses and released.

On April 16, police responded to Milton Ave. for the report of a suspicious person. There they encountered 28-year-old Cathleen E. Toomey of Turnersville, who was arrested for possession of a hypodermic needle. Toomey was issued summonses and released.
