Deptford Bank Robber Indicted for Multiple Offenses

A Paulsboro man who allegedly brandished an Uzi-style submachine gun during a May robbery of a Deptford bank was indicted by a Gloucester County grand jury on numerous charges last week.

Warren Christopher Davis, 31, faces charges of first-degree robbery, second-degree conspiracy to commit robbery, third-degree theft by unlawful taking, second-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon, fourth-degree possession of a large-capacity ammunition magazine and second-degree possession of a weapon by certain persons not entitled to have a weapon.

Police said , then stole more than $10,000.

The two men then went to the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Philadelphia, where they stayed two nights, but skipped out on the tab, prosecutor's office spokesman Bernie Weisenfeld said.

Davis was arrested on July 1 in Camden, but Tribbett remained on the lam until July 18, when .
