Drug Arrests, Scrap Metal Theft: West Deptford Crimelog

Christopher Abbott of Gloucester City was the lone arrestee remanded to the county jail after he was charged for theft of scrap metal from an Imperial Way business.

West Deptford police reported the following arrests were made in the township in the past week. All information comes from police; an arrest is not an indication of guilt: 

On April 19, a motor vehicle stop led to the arrest of Stacy A Craft, 39, of Gibbstown, for possession of what police believe was heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia after her vehicle was stopped for motor vehicle violations. She was issued summonses and was released pending a court date.

That same day, 42-year-old Christopher Abbott of Gloucester City, was arrested for the theft of scrap metal (valued at more than $500) from the rear of Precision Orthotics Laboratory. Abbott was remanded to the Gloucester County correctional facility in lieu of $25,000 full-cash bail.

On April 20, 22-year-old William Z. Schickel of West Deptford was arrested for possession of what police believe to be marijuana. Schickel was pulled over after a motor vehicle stop was conducted on a vehicle in which he was a passenger. He was issued a summons and released pending a court date.

On April 21, a motor vehicle stop led to the arrests of Caitlin E. Goodfellow, 19, of Elkton, MD, and Kyle M. Sheldon, 23, of Fords, NJ, for possession of what police believe was heroin and for possession of a hypodermic needle. Both were issued summonses and released pending a court date.

On April 24, 30-year-old Kristin Nichols of Woodstown was arrested for possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a hypodermic syringe following a motor vehicle stop for equipment violations. She was issued summonses and was released pending a court date.
