Execution of Search Warrant Leads to Marijuana Charges for Two Men

West Deptford residents Tyler N. Wolf-Toth and Matthew M. Lawrence are charged with possession of marijuana during a search warrant execution on Dec. 27.

Two individuals are charged with possession of marijuana during the execution of a search warrant, following a monthlong investigation.

According to West Deptford Police Chief Criag Mangano, members of the West Deptford police department executed a search warrant at approximately 4 p.m. on Dec. 27 at a residence located on the 1600 block of Crown Point Road.

West Deptford residents—Tyler N. Wolf-Toth, 19, and Matthew M. Lawrence, 20—were both charged with drug related offenses. Both were present as the search warrant was executed.

Wolf-Toth was the target of a monthlong investigation conducted by West Deptford Inv. Jason Sherman, which served as the basis for the search warrant.

Wolf-Toth was found to be in possession of more than 50 grams of marijuana, police said. He was charged with possession of marijuana over 50 grams, distribution of marijuana over one ounce, distribution of marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school zone, distribution of marijuana within 500 feet of a park and possession of drug paraphernalia. Wolf-Toth was charged on summons and released pending grand jury action.

Lawrence was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams—a disorderly persons offense. He was released pending a court date.
