Glassboro Man Charged with Child Sexual Assault
Melvin A. Owens, 42, was jailed in default of a quarter-million-dollar bail.
A Glassboro man whom authorities say sexually assaulted a child under the age of 13 was jailed Sunday on default of $250,000 bail.
Melvin A. Owens, 42, was charged by the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office (GCPO) with aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child.
The alleged offenses occurred in Glassboro, according to the GCPO, and police were notified by the parent of the alleged victim.
