Mantua Man Charged in Child Sexual Assault Case

Michael B. Olsen is alleged to have repeatedly sexually assaulted a girl at his Mantua home. The alleged attacks occurred when she was five and six years old.

A Mantua man alleged to have repeatedly sexually assaulted a child on various occasions in the past two years has been arrested.

Michael B. Olsen, 34, was charged with three counts of aggravated sexual assault, six counts of sexual assault and one count of endangering the welfare of a child.

Olsen was jailed on default of $100,000, full-cash bail.

The alleged incidents occurred at Olsen's home in the 600 block of Santa Fe Drive, and reportedly date back to 2012, when the victim, a female, was five and six years old.

The case was coordinated by Detectives Greg Malesich of the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office and James Hagerty of the Mantua Township Police Department.
