National Night Out at RiverWinds Tuesday
The annual event will feature police and fire equipment, as well as demonstrations and activities throughout the evening.
West Deptford police will join in with departments in more than 15,000 cities Tuesday night as they host National Night Out at .
The event, which runs from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., is sponsored by the township, the police department and the West Deptford Municipal Alliance, and will have a wide variety of activities, from a K-9 demonstration by the Gloucester County Police K9 Association to SWAT vehicles to activities and giveaways.
National Night Out, which began in 1984, has grown from 2.5 million participants to an estimated 37 million this year.
