Police have a description and photos of the man they say is wanted in connection with the Cornerstone Bank robbery on Friday evening.

West Deptford Police have released photos of the man they say is wanted in connection with a Friday afternoon robbery of the Cornerstone Bank in West Deptford.

The suspect is described as a dark-complected, bearded, black male, medium build, standing five feet, ten inches tall.

He was last seen wearing dark sunglasses, a black baseball hat, and a gray long-sleeved shirt with an emblem on the front.

Police also provided some additional details about the robbery itself, including that the suspect approached the teller, initially telling her that he wanted to cash a check.

They also identified the weapon used in the robbery as a black, semiautomatic handgun.

"After receiving the money, the subject advised the teller and other bank employees to turn around and count to 90 or he would shoot them," police reported in a statement.

The driver fled the scene in a 1994 Nissan SUV.
