Police: Truck Thieves Could've Used a Mechanic
Someone made off with a semi tractor truck from Miller Truck Leasing, but didn't get very far.
Truck thieves didn't make much of a getaway after stealing a semi from the Miller Truck Leasing Company last week, said.
The semi tractor was reported stolen from the Crown Point Road business on June 27, but police didn't have to look very far to track it down.
The would-be thieves only got a couple miles up Route 295 before breaking down and abandoning the truck, where police found it, still unable to start, near Exit 24.
