Police are hunting for the person who fatally stabbed a 54-year-old woman in her apartment Monday night.
Ramona Johnstone was found unconscious in her home at Woodburty Court Apartments on South Broad Street, where she lived alone. Officers responding to a call from the apartment complex at 8:30 p.m. found Johnstone suffering from multiple stab wounds.
She was pronounced dead on arrival at Underwood Memorial Hospital in Woodbury. An autopsy will be conducted Tuesday.
Woodbury police and the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office are investigating the death. No arrests have been made.
