Reward for Information on Persons of Interest in Bucks Landing Murder

Warminster police are looking for two men in connection with the fatal stabbing of Tyrone Newman Sunday morning.

The Citizens Crime Commission has offered a $1,000 reward for any information on two persons of interest in relation to the  of Warminster, PA, resident Tyrone Newman at Bucks Landing Apartments early Sunday morning.

The Warminster Police Department identified 24-year-old John T. Briggs, 5-feet tall, 135 pounds with a tattoo of "John" on his right arm, and a second person known only as "Turtle," a black male in his 20s, 5-feet tall with a large slash on his face, believed to be from Paulsboro or Camden.

Anyone with information concerning the whereabouts can call the Citizens Crime Commission at 215-546-TIPS or Warminster Township Police/Bucks County Detectives at 215-672-1000.

The $1,000 reward is for any information that would lead to the arrest and conviction of the individual(s) responsible for the murder of Newman.

Newman was stabbed during what authorities believed was a party in the K building of . After stabbing Newman multiple times in the neck and stomach, the attackers fled into the M building, according to details from Bucks County District Attorney David Heckler and Warminster Police Chief Michael Murphy. Newman died shortly after being taken to Abington Memorial Hospital.
