Richard Wilmer Wanted in Gloucester County on Warrant

The Paulsboro man failed to appear in state Superior Court in Woodbury.

Richard Wilmer, 36, of the 1600 block of Swedesboro Avenue, Paulsboro is wanted by the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office for failure to appear in state Superior Court in Woodbury. Wilmer was scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 12, 2012, for a pre-arraignment interview on a burglary charge. 

Wilmer is 6 feet, 3 inches tall, weighs 200 pounds and has brown eyes and black hair. He has a scar on his left arm; a 10-inch scar on his left knee, and a scar on his right hand.

On July 30, 2012 a Paulsboro police officer was dispatched to Madison Street for a possible burglary in progress. The officer saw a male he recognized as Wilmer coming out the door of the reported address with a large bag containing a video-game system and games. Wilmer was detained. A front window of the property was found to have been smashed. and an eviction notice was posted on the door saying no one was to enter without the landlord’s permission. Wilmer was charged with burglary.

A state grand jury sitting in Gloucester County indicted Wilmer on Nov. 28, 2012, on a third-degree burglary charge.
