Shoplifting Tops West Deptford Crimelog
The following information was provided by the West Deptford police department.
–Thieves stole $100 in cash and change from one unlocked car and went through the glove box in a second unlocked car on Lawnton Avenue on Aug. 3. Nothing was taken from the second car.
–Vandals scrawled grafitti with black markers on air conditioning units at Amerisource on Phoenix Drive on Aug. 7.
–Two women were caught attempting to shoplift cosmetics in their handbags at the Rite Aid on Kings Highway on Aug. 7.

–A man was caught trying to shoplift a pack of cigarettes from the Wawa at Crown Point Road and Delaware Street on Aug. 7.
–A 50-gallon Bradford hot water heater was stolen from the back steps of a home on Lawnton Avenue on Aug. 10.

–Vandals ripped off the control arm and took the gas cap from a from a hydraulic lift being used for roofing work at Oakview Elementary School on Aug. 15.
