Thefts and Vandalism Highlight West Deptford Crimelog

–Vandals dumped an unidentified oily substance on the front seat of a locked Chevy pickup truck parked at the Westwood Motor Lodge on Crown Point Road on March 16.

–Vandals used a chunk of asphalt to smash out the window of a Herr's delivery truck parked on Grove Road on March 19. The truck was locked at the time, and nothing appeared to be missing.

–Traffic cones, construction barrels and side wall tire cutouts were stolen from a Jessup Road construction site between March 17 and 19.

–Vandals slung a beer bottle through a window at the firehouse on March 19. The bottle smashed an eight-inch wide hole in the window and scattered broken glass inside the firehouse.

–A Garmin GPS and about $19 was stolen from an unlocked car parked on Woodland Avenue on March 20.
