Three Men Indicted for Separate Sexual Assaults

Three Gloucester County men were indicted last week for allegedly sexually assaulting children, two of whom allegedly assaulted their victims over the course of more than a year.

Keith E. Doran, 36, of Mullica Hill, Dominick A. Valerio, 36, of Franklinville, and Gilberto Maldonado, 38, of Paulsboro, were indicted by a county grand jury on various charges.

Doran faces a slew of charges for assaults that allegedly occurred in Elk Township between Sept. 2008 and May 30, 2010. He was indicted on charges of sexual assault where the victim was younger than 13, two counts of aggravated sexual assault where the victim was a relative between the ages of 13 and 16, two counts of sexual assault by force or coercion with no serious injuries, sexual assault where the defendant was more than four years older than the victim, aggravated criminal sexual contact, endangering the welfare of a child and two counts of sexual assault where the defendant was more than four years older than a victim between the ages of 13 and 16.

Valerio also allegedly committed multiple assaults between 2010 and July 2011 in Monroe Township and Franklin Township. He was indicted on four counts of aggravated sexual assault where the victim was a relative between the ages of 13 and 16, four counts of sexual assault by force or coercion with no serious injuries, four counts of sexual assault where the defendant is more than four years older than a victim between the ages of 13 and 16 and single counts of endangering the welfare of a child, aggravated criminal sexual contact and criminal sexual contact.

Maldonado’s assault allegedly took place on a single day–July 1–in Paulsboro. He was indicted on charges of sexual assault where the defendant is more than four years older than the victim, endangering the welfare of a child and endangering the welfare of a child by photographing a child in a prohibited sexual act.
