Vandalism, Theft Top West Deptford Crimelog

Construction supplies, welding leads, an iPhone and a firepit were among the losses for township residents in several incidents from last week.

March 13 – Vandals damaged two vehicles that were parked in the parking lot of the Kingswick Apartments. The vehicles had thin scratches across the entire driver’s sides, including the front fender, side door and rear panels. 

March 15 - A spare, unactivated Apple iPhone was stolen from an unlocked apartment at the Highbridge Lane Apartments.

March 15 - A black fire pit was stolen from the backyard of a residence on Lecato Avenue.

March 15 - Vandals kicked the back door of a residence on Lafayette Avenue. There was visible damage to the bottom of the door, but no entry was made into the residence.

March 19 - Vandals damaged a vehicle parked at Red Bank Apartments, slashing a one-inch cut in the sidewall of one of its tires.

March 20 - Several welding leads were stolen from a generator of Owens and Minor Distribution, Inc., which is located on Forest Parkway. Such metals are often sold for scrap.
