Vehicle Theft, Vandalism Top West Deptford Crimelog

Plus: an iPhone 5 was taken from a container at the RiverWinds, and someone reportedly walked off with an air conditioner at Shepherd's farm—just as the weather is turning warmer.

The following incidents were reported by the West Deptford Police Department as having occurred in the Township within the last week.

  • On March 29, a Dodge Pickup truck valued at $5,000 was stolen from in front of an Audubon Avenue residence.
  • On April 3, a motor vehicle parked in front of a Second Street residence was dented and spray-painted. The value of the damage is unknown.
  • Within the last 30 days, an unknown person or persons stole a window-unit air conditioner (value unknown) and a backflow valve from 981 Grove Road (Shepherd’s farm).
  • On March 30, a black iPhone 5 valued at $200 was stolen from an open storage container at the Riverwinds Community Center.
  • On April 4, a black-and-white Genesis mountain bike valued at $15 was stolen from the front yard of 730 Delaware Street.
