Wanted by Gloucester Prosecutor: Guy Gallagher

Gallagher, a convicted sex offender, failed to register his address, and then he failed to appear in court.

Guy A. Gallagher is wanted by the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office for failure to appear in Superior Court in Woodbury on May 29 for an arraignment/status conference on a charge of sex offender failing to notify police of an address change.

Gallagher, 30, of North Delsea Drive in Clayton is 5'11", 175 pounds and has brown eyes and brown hair. He has a tattoo on his left arm (“Outlaw” & cross with “Guy”) and a tattoo on his right arm (“Pome”).

On Sept. 5, 2013, a West Deptford Township police officer received a call from a state parole agent regarding defendant Gallagher, recently released from incarceration after serving a sentence for child endangerment and living in a West Deptford motel.

As a condition of Megan’s Law for sex offenders, he was required to register his residence with police and he had not done so within the required 48 hours. The officer encountered Gallagher at the motel and arrested him there.

A Gloucester County grand jury indicted Gallagher on Jan. 8 on a fourth-degree charge of sex offender failing to notify police of a change of address.

Anyone who knows the whereabouts of the defendant should not attempt to
apprehend him. Instead, contact the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office at
856-384-5643 or GCPO Lt. Barry Johnson at 856-498-5485. Anonymous tips
can be provided by texting GLOTIP & your message to CRIMES (274637).
