Wanted: Kathryn J. Pettit

Kathryne J. Pettit was charged with driving on a suspended license and being involved in an accident that resulted in injury to a four-year-old child.

A West Berlin woman is wanted by the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office for failure to appear in Woodbury Superior Court on June 26 on a charge of endangering the welfare of a child.

Kathryne J. Pettit, 29, is described as 5-foot-4, 180 pounds with hazel eyes and brown hair.

She was charged with driving a 2000 Nissan Altima on a suspended license on March 7, 2012. She was involved in a motor vehicle crash in Washington Township that resulted in injury to a four-year-old child she had assumed responsibility for.

Pettit was indicted on July 24 on a charge of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child.

The Prosecutor’s Office warns anyone who knows the whereabouts of the defendant not to attempt to apprehend her. Instead, contact the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office at 856-384-5643 or GCPO Lt. Barry Johnson at 856-498-5485.
