Wanted: Lauren P. Lewis

Lewis failed to appear for sentencing on heroin charges earlier this year. She's also wanted on charges of credit card fraud.

Lauren P. Lewis, 27, of Mantua, is wanted by the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office for failure to appear in Superior Court, Woodbury on April 11 for sentencing on a heroin possession charge and on May 14 for a pre-arraignment interview on a credit card fraud and forgery charges.

Lewis is 5-foot-6, 125 pounds with green eyes and brown hair with a scar on her neck and a pierced abdomen and ears.

Lewis was a passenger in a car that was stopped by Deptford Police on Nov. 19, 2012 for failure to use a seat belt.

The officer spotted a hypodermic needle in her purse, leading to a subsequent search that revealed Lewis in possession of nine bags of suspected heroin. She pleaded guilty to a charge of third-degree possession of heroin on Feb. 10 of this year.

Additionally, Lewis was arrested on Nov. 23, 2013 by a Mantua Township police officer investigating a suspected credit card theft from a local businessman who reported numerous unauthorized charges at a home improvement store.

She was indicted April 30 of this year by a Gloucester County grand jury on charges of fourth-degree forgery and third-degree fraudulent use of a credit card.
