WDPD Gets EMT Kits from West Deptford Junior Women's Club

The club donated two kits to outfit a pair of officers who are trained EMTs.

West Deptford police have one more way of keeping the public safe, after a donation from the West Deptford Junior Women's Club.

Club members donated two Emergency Medical Technician Response Kits to the police department, which will be assigned to the pair of officers who are also trained EMTs, Chief Craig Mangano said.

“This donation goes a long way in providing the officers with the equipment needed to administer initial emergency medical care that can save lives,” he said.

Mangano praised the club as a supporter of the police department, and said donations like this one are helpful, given the increasingly tighter budgets.

Kathleen Clark and Tracey Hill, co-chairs of the club's public affairs department, said the group is proud to support the police department through their donation.
