West Deptford Man Wanted in Alleged Pool Liner Scam

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Frank R. Starzi, II is asked to call police.

Maple Shade police are looking for a man who allegedly accepted $575 to install a pool liner and never performed the work. 

The Courier-Post reports that 27-year-old Frank R. Starzi, II is wanted on a warrant from Maple Shade for theft by deception, and Mt. Laurel police are investigating whether he fits with similar incidents reported in their community.

Police say Starzi, II, who has had known addresses in West Deptford, Deptford and Gloucester City, may be driving a black 2001 Oldsmobile Bravada with New Jersey plates.

On June 3, the day after police say Starzi, II failed to perform the work, the victim confronted him at a friend's house, where he had shown up to provide another estimate for pool liner replacement work. In his haste to escape, Starzi, II allegedly drove over the friend's foot with his car.
