West Deptford Police Bust Alleged Shoplifters
Three alleged shoplifters were caught in the course of the weekend.
A trio of shoplifters were arrested in a two-day span at Shop-Rite and Canals last weekend, said Friday.
Police nabbed a woman who allegedly attempted to stuff her handbag with more than $100 worth of merchandise at Shop-Rite on May 5. The same day at the same store, police arrested a man who allegedly snatched 10 cans of Similac baby formula before taking off.
The following day, police arrested a man dressed in numerous layers of clothing, who they said attempted to pinch two bottles of liquor from Canal’s by stuffing them in his pants.
