Within a few hours of the image appearing online, police said they had a positive I.D. on the suspect.
After putting out a call to the public for assistance identifying the suspect of a hit-and-run that happened in the Gateway Shopping Center on June 20, West Deptford police were able to file charges in the month-old case.
The driver in question was a juvenile at the time of the incident, and so police have not made her identity public; however, West Deptford Police Chief Craig Mangano confirmed that she was charged with leaving the scene of a crash.
"She said she was backing out of a parking space and struck a vehicle," Mangano said."

The young woman "admitted to it and stated that she waited in the parking lot" after the crash, Mangano said.
"Nobody came around, and she left," he said, adding that another witness corroborated her story.
