West Deptford Police Investigate Vehicle Burglaries, Damages
Vehicle owners in town will be shelling out an estimated $1,600 this week to repair or replace damages to their rides.
West Deptford police are looking into a number of incidents in which township residents suffered theft or damage to their vehicles.
A Tilden Court resident will be paying an estimated $300 to replace a vehicle windshield damaged during an incident that occurred overnight January 11.
Two days later, a Paulsboro resident who parked his car in a dirt lot on Crown Point Road for four hours in the middle of the day returned to find one of his tires had been removed. The estimated cost of a replacement is $200.
During the overnight hours of January 19, a 1989 GMC Jimmy belonging to a resident of South Bergen Avenue was stolen while it was parked in front of the home. The vehicle was valued at $1,000.
Finally, that same evening, a Mongoose BMX bicycle estimated at $100 was stolen from the backyard of a Grove Avenue home.
