West Deptford Police Investigating Burglaries, Thefts

More than $1,000 in property was stolen in a pair of reported thefts; two other residences reported burglary attempts in the past month.

West Deptford Police are investigating a number of recent thefts and burglaries to residential areas in the township in the past month.

On November 28, police report that a $500 worth of water sports items, including a kayak, were taken from a residence on Brewer Avenue.

On December 5, an Apple Lane resident reported that someone tried to break into the home via a first-floor window.  

Then, on December 10, a window and an aluminum screen door (valued together at $500) were taken from the side yard of a home on Page Street.

Finally, on December 13, a resident from Mid Atlantic Parkway discovered pry marks on both of the rear doors of his home, indicating a possible burglary attempt.
