West Deptford Police Investigating Car Vandalism

Police say two township residents had windows in their vehicles smashed out in separate incidents.

West Deptford police are investigating two incidents of vandalism in the township in which residents' vehicle windows were smashed out.

On August 15, police received a report of a West Deptford man whose passenger-side window was smashed in when two individuals threw a brick at his car.

He had been driving on Hessian Avenue at the intersection of Verga Avenue. Total value of the damage was estimated at $200.

Two days later, a Woodhollow Drive resident reported that his rear windshield had been destroyed sometime overnight while it was parked in the lot. The estimated value of the damage is unknown.

Anyone with information on either incident is asked to contact township police at 856-853-4599.
