5 Things: Budgets, Relays and Election Deadlines

Here are a few things you need to know this week.

1. The township committee is expected to introduce the 2011-12 budget at Thursday night’s meeting–if you want to know how your money’s being spent, head to at 7 p.m.

2. If you’re not already registered to vote, and you want to participate in the school election at the end of this month, Wednesday is the deadline to register at .

3. Little League Opening Day is Saturday morning at 9 a.m. at , and West Deptford High School will also host the Pop McKenna Spring Classic at Union Field during the day

4. Track fans know Saturday is also the 19th annual West Deptford Relays, which brings together some of the top girls’ track athletes throughout New Jersey. It starts at 9 a.m. at the high school, and goes all day.

5. The WDHS PTO is holding their starting April 18. You can drop off clothing, shoes, belts, handbags, linens, stuffed animals and toys at the high school between April 18 and May 11, and the school will get money for every pound they collect.
