Eagle Point Tax Appeal Presentations on West Deptford Committee Agenda

Both the Sunoco and Coastal/El Paso appeals will be explained Thursday night.

The West Deptford township committee will break down both the Sunoco and Coastal/El Paso tax appeals over the at Thursday night's work session, according to a release put out by the township Republican Party early Thursday afternoon.

The announcement, which came about four hours after announced last month, said there would be full disclosure on both situations, comprising 23 years' worth of appeals.

Judge Eugene McCaffrey Jr.'s ruling required the committee to go back to the start with the Sunoco appeal, with more specific details released about the settlement, in order to comply with the state's Open Public Meetings Act.

The full agenda for the work session was still being finalized, and was not yet available as of midafternoon.

The township committee work session begins at 7 p.m. at the municipal building.
