GCC Offering GED Help

An online program offered through the county college will assist locals preparing for the GED test.

County residents looking to prepare for the GED exam can now turn to Gloucester County College for some extra help.

The college, in partnership with the Gloucester County One Stop Career Center, Workforce Investment Board and the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development, will hold summer orientation starting next month for a GED Hybrid Online class.

The hybrid program is designed as a convenient way for locals to get ready to earn a New Jersey high school diploma. Students can prepare for the test online in the comfort of their homes and attend class one day per week.

Prospective students interested in registering for the GED hybrid online class will be tested to assess their basic skills. The length of time for testing varies, but will not take longer than four hours to complete the test. There is a $10 registration fee.
