GovDeals Allows WD Residents to Bid from Home

Looking to upgrade that old rusted clunker to a newer Ford Crown Victoria? Or how about starting that New Year's resolution early by buying a treadmill or dumbbell set? If so, be sure to check out West Deptford Township's online public auction on Monday, Oct. 15.

West Deptford Township will hold a public auction of various vehicles and equipment. The online auction will open on GovDeals.com. All intended bidders must register in advance on GovDeals.com to participate in the auction. 

Officials passed a resolution at the Sept. 20 township committee meeting, approving the vehicles and equipment from RiverWinds to be sold on GovDeals.com in “as is” condition. This is the second year West Deptford Township is employing the website for public auctions. 

The vehicles will be available for inspection at 9 a.m., Friday at the township garage. Anyone who wishes to see the vehicles after that time must schedule an appointment. RiverWinds equipment being sold will also be available for inspection at the RiverWinds garage by appointment only.
