Governor Slated to Appear at Republican Fundraiser at Nicolosi's

Chris Christie will head to West Deptford for a fundraising dinner after holding a town hall in Salem County Wednesday.

Gov. Chris Christie will be in town Wednesday night for a private fundraiser for Gloucester County Republican candidates Phil Dieser, Jeff Morris, Richard Hickey, Margie Love and Tom Thistle—but don’t plan on getting in without a hefty donation.

The $150 a head reception at 6 p.m. at Nicolosi’s Catering on Hessian Avenue will feature the popular governor as its centerpiece, but it’ll be off-limits to anyone but ticketholders, and party officials indicated it has been closed to the press.

The fundraiser follows one of the governor’s signature town hall meetings, the first such one in Salem County. Christie is scheduled to speak at the Salem County Vocational and Technical School in Woodstown at 4 p.m., then will head to the West Deptford event for the evening.
