MLK Jr. Day Openings and Closings
While some places around West Deptford will be closed for the holiday, families can still visit library and community center this Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Today is Martin Luther King Jr. Day, so for many children and adults it means a day off. With so many places closed on this federal holiday, parents are left scratching their heads when it comes to family activities. Yet, while many places are closed in West Deptford, there are some that will remain open.
For starters, the West Deptford Free Public Library is open with regular scheduled hours, and is currently featuring a display of books on Martin Luther King Jr.
If your family is looking for a little more activity today, try the RiverWinds Community Center. The community center will also be open today with regular hours. In addition, the center will be extending its waterslide hours today from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

- West Deptford School District
- Gloucester County Community College
- U.S. Postal Office in Thorofare
- Bank of America in West Deptford
