Preview Thursday's West Deptford Committee Agenda

Items on the table include the budget transfer measure that failed in the last session, $200,000 in Queen Street improvement funds, and a No Passing Zone on Route 44.

The West Deptford township committee will try to tackle its budget transfers again Thursday night, but that's only one of the big items on the docket for this week's meeting of local government.

The agenda for the biweekly committee meeting also includes a nearly $200,000 "approval of voucher and current estimate" to Landberg Construction, LLC for work performed on the Queen Street improvement project.

The committee will also propose the establishment of a “No Passing Zone” along Route 44, Mantua Grove Road and Church Street, "as established by the New Jersey Department of Transportation," the agenda notes.

Finally, the committee will also enter into closed session to discuss litigation related to the bankruptcy case of Grove Street Realty Urban Renewal, LLC, the developers of the ill-fated Rivercove apartments.
