PSE&G Solar Farm a Go

The zoning board gave final approval to the power company's application for an array on Jessup Road.

A former farm field on Jessup Road will soon be home to a different sort of farm, as PSE&G’s proposed solar array scored its final site plan approval at West Deptford’s zoning board meeting Tuesday.

Zoning board planner Jay Petrongolo praised PSE&G for listening to the board’s recommendations.

“They’ve really made some significant improvements,” he said.

The approved solar array is part of the company's push to place 80 megawatts of solar power in New Jersey.
