RiverWinds, Recreation Boards Meet This Week

The RiverWinds advisory board holds its second-ever meeting and the recreation advisory committee has its monthly meeting in what's otherwise a quiet week for local government.

The newly minted RiverWinds board, headed by Jeff Hansen, was created this year to oversee the operations of the community center.

The recreation committee, which has representatives from the various youth leagues around the township, as well as the Little Theatre program, Boy Scouts, and the Miss West Deptford program, works with the township's recreation department on various issues regarding the local parks and recreation system.
