Two Gloucester County Flu Shot Clinics Rescheduled
The regular flu shot clinic schedule for Gloucester County residents continues through Dec. 17.
Gloucester County submitted the following release:
Gloucester County Freeholder Director Robert M. Damminger and Freeholder Lyman Barnes announced today that the Gloucester County Department of Health will be rescheduling two flu shot clinics that had been scheduled for early in the week but were cancelled due to Sandy.
The flu shot clinic originally scheduled for Monday, October 29 from 6 – 8 pm at Chestnut Ridge Middle School, 641 Hurffville-Crosskeys Rd., Sewell has been rescheduled for Monday, November 19 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.

The flu shot clinic scheduled for Tuesday, October 30 from 10:00 – 11:00 am at National Park Fire Hall, Hessian and Grove Roads in National Park, will take place on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 from 10:00 to 11:00 am.
The regular flu shot schedule continues with a clinic tomorrow. “There is still time for residents to receive their flu shot,” said Freeholder Director Robert M. Damminger. “There are no out of pocket cost for flu shots and the clinics are scheduled for everyone’s convenience; days, evenings and weekends.”

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that every person over the age of 6 months* receive a flu shot as the first and best way to protect against influenza. This year’s flu vaccine contains different strains over last year’s so it is important to make sure you are protected.
