West Deptford’s held back-to-back meetings for the last time in 2012, with a planned shift in the schedule to every other week finally coming to fruition.
Starting in September, the meetings will go to the first and third Thursday, with the general meeting remaining on the first Thursday.
“We’ll continue that way throughout the year,” Mayor Ray Chintall said.
The township provided the updated meeting schedule at Thursday night’s township committee meeting, and Chintall said the township’s website will be updated with the new schedule, as well.
, after talks among the township committee that began early in the year.
Chintall previously said the back-to-back meetings weren’t ideal.
“We realized everything was being crunched in the first part of the month,” he said in April.
