West Deptford Township Committee Meeting Pushed Back

Originally scheduled for 7 p.m., the meeting will now be 30 minutes later.

West Deptford's township committee work session tonight has been delayed 30 minutes, as Mayor Ray Chintall and committeeman Sam Cianfarini hand out their first scholarships to students.

The high school's scholastic awards night begins at 7 p.m.; Chintall and Cianfarini are slated to hand out their awards near the start of the program, and the township committee meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Earlier this year, , the two Republicans announced they were finalizing the scholarships, which were part of their campaign platform last year.

Does anyone have a problem with Sam using taxpayer money to pay for his niece's scholarship, Samantha Budd? I'm just wondering if that is appropriate.

nepotism.Please explain how sam used taxpayers money.I think 20,000 residents would like to know.I understand his wages are going towards the scholarships and that would be coming out of his pocket.I'm sure your more intelligent than that,maybe not
