Proceeds from the 5K will go to benefit families in need through Operation Blessing.

There is nothing better for blowing off a little steam than taking a jog in the park on a brisk fall day, unless of coursethat jog can earn you a trophy.

On Sunday, Oct 14, the West Deptford Middle School PTO will host the 5K Trail Run for the Holidays at West Deptford Park. The race begins at 9 a.m. with a free 400-meter run for kids and $5 fun walk.

Registration for the event begins at 7:30 a.m. and costs $20 per participant.
All proceeds from the walk will go to Operation Blessing, a schoolwide effort to help families in need during the holiday season. Operation Blessing provides families from the Gloucester County Homeless Prevention program with daily necessities, including toys for the holidays.
