Down by just a point after a Collingswood touchdown in the second half, Haddon Township rallied to score the game-winner on a 69-yard drive Saturday—aided in part by a couple of costly Panthers penalties.
Dan Clemente rumbled in from 11 yards to score the decisive TD after Collingswood let the Hawks off the hook with two third-down penalties that gave Haddon Township new life each time.
Collingswood had a chance to tie or win outright after taking over with just over two minutes left in the fourth quarter, but had a fourth-down pass picked off to end the threat and drop them to 0-2 on the season. Haddon Township is now 1-1.

The Garnets' new offense was run to perfection by quarterback Dante Pinckney, who completed 11-of-14 for 221 yards and three touchdowns against the hapless Green Wave.
Two of the TDs—one for 55 yards and the other for 13—went to Kashif Miller, while the other was a 36-yarder to Kenny Lewis.
Pinckney also rushed for 77 yards and a score. Brandon Joyner was the other scoring threat, rushing for three touchdowns among his 10 carries.
For Audubon, Kahleil Chisolm was the only option—he scored all three Green Wave touchdowns on the afternoon.
